I have been thinking of adding more furniture and accent pieces in my living room. it looks so bare that it becomes a pain in the eyes. That’s why I asked my interior designer friend on what I can do about it. She suggested that I could add plants to my living room.
So I searched for the perfect indoor plants that I can use for my living room. There were a lot but I really hated the planters that came with it. So I also searched for planters that look nice and classy at the same time. I chanced upon a set of cast iron planter and I thought it was perfect. I purchased them right away and now they are sitting perfectly in my living room.
There are instances when we have sudden cravings or grilled items such as steaks and burgers. These are readily available in restaurants and fast food chains, but there is nothing like being able to enjoy these while lounging around in the confines of our own home. It is definitely much more convenient to grill your own food, especially when you would want to take advantage of the backyard space you have.
For these instances, working with a Grilltech fire pit is a convenient way of firing up and satisfying your grill cravings. This is perfect for those who would not want to be hassled with big grilling equipment when cooking up their food. This is ideal for those with terraces and would need to easily move the pit from one place to another. Depending on their mood, they can find the perfect spot to grill in their house without having to stress over the transfer.
It is not for everyone but there are young boys who will ask for a wagon wheel bed when their room is being decorated. That will start you off looking for western furniture, wall hangings, bed spreads and room accessories. The western look consists of browns, tans, blacks and other dark colors. For young teeners, this can be livened up a bit with the use of more vibrant colors and patterns in the curtains and throw pillows. You can also add exciting decor such as a rope lasso hanging on the wall.
Other western decorations can take the form of lampshades with edges decorated with rope, pictures of horses and cowboys and drawer knobs made of metal. There are many possibilities for DIY projects that the teener can do himself. Maybe you can help him to stencil images on a plain drawer cabinet. You can also buy adhesive decals that can be pasted on the walls. These are easy to do and he will be happy to be able to tell his friends that he had a hand in decorating his room.
Western style furniture tends to be large, made of wood and without much detailing. Western drawer pulls can be a piece of squared off wooden block or twig pieces. Pine and oak are favorite wood species that are designed into log or mission style furnishings. They are sturdy and are built to last for generations. Modern style western furniture has elegance and style that are often used in combination with other decorating themes.
Modern western drawers have double-ball bearing glide systems that ensure smooth opening and closing. Dovetails at the front and back keep the drawers tight even after thousands of opening. They may also feature cedar bottoms that shun insects. Just like chests, wooden beds are of solid construction. Polyurethane is now applied to maximize protection and ensure lasting usefulness.
