My friends tell me that I am wasting my backyard because it has so much potential on being a nice and pretty garden but I am just letting it become a forest-like backyard. I really want to make it more beautiful but for the past few years I was so busy that it’s the last thing on my mind. I just disregarded their comments and went on with my life. But then a recent trip to Europe changed my mind about that backyard.

When I went there almost all of the houses I went to have such pretty gardens. Sitting on their gardens and sipping tea can really be relaxing. That’s why when I returned home I hired a landscape artist right away and started on having the makeover for my backyard. I even bought outdoor benches where my friends and I could hang out.

Gardens are special areas in the home which exudes tranquility and peace. We would usually spend most of our time in these places so we can relax and take a breather. There is nothing like natural ambiance which can help us to feel at peace and comfortable. This is why most people make sure they have patches of garden in their homes.

Those who own gardens must also invest in garden décor to further improve the area. Aside from furniture to be used to lounge and sit in the area, decorative touches are also essential. County garden signs are a great way to provide a decorative element in the space. Shabby decorations make the garden feel more inviting and homey. This allows for an environment conducive to sit back and relax while waiting for the sun to come down.

In our home, we would usually have the space suited to the owners’ preferences and tastes. There are many options by which a person can improve and enhance the interiors according to his sense of style. Rarely do we give emphasis to children’s rooms, and would simply decorate their space simply and free from any children’s trinkets.

Children would be extremely excited when they come inside a room filled with all things they absolutely love. A child’s room complete with his favorite characters from the beddings to the furnishings always make for the perfect setting. Our new home is finally on its last stages before the actual completion. I have always wanted a home for our family, and as the head of the family it is of course my duty to provide for them at all costs. It only requires a few more finishing touches, and when everything is cleaned up we can already move the furniture in. My wife and kids are absolutely excited about the move in a few weeks.

The last place to be finished is the master’s toilet and bath. We are very particular about the accessories which we ordered for the bathroom, so it took quite a while before these things were shipped to our new home. I got some great looking bathroom hardware which would match the elegant design of the bathroom. This way, my wife and I can look forward to luxurious baths together.

I have been helping my sister redecorate her house because she thinks that she finally needs a fresh start after her divorce with her husband. The divorce really took a toll on her and I do think that it’s right that she is trying to move on. That’s why I support her 100% on all of her new endeavors in life. I am very proud that she is a strong-willed woman that knows how to stand up again after such a devastating event in her life.

We are now currently redecorating her kitchen and I am very excited in this part of the house. My sister is a great cook and I know that a change in the kitchen will help her cook more delicious food. I even gave her one of those chalet cuckoo clocks that she can use as a decoration for her kitchen wall. She loved it so much that she hanged it right away because she thought that it complemented her kitchen very well.

Since my birthday is near Christmas, my family and friends would usually hand me gifts for both occasions. When I was a little girl I used to hate that, and would often envy my siblings as they all have different sets of gifts for their birthdays and Christmas. These days though I would not think of it as much, since it saves me on the costs of throwing two parties for both occasions.

For my birthday and Christmas present my sister sent over a craft table drop leaf. I was quite surprised when it was delivered over to my house, and did not anticipate such a lovely gift from my sister who lived thousands of miles away from me. It was a well-thought of gift that I would definitely be able to use. If gifts then were this grand, I probably would not have complained when I was a little girl!

My sister is an art curator in one of the state’s best galleries. She has always been adept when it comes to art, and my mother said she has been doodling ever since she was a toddler. Everyone in the family knew that she definitely had a future in this field. The whole family was correct; she indeed made a name for herself as one of the best curators in the industry.

Her home is like an art gallery in itself. You can definitely see her sense of style and elegance in each of the pieces she has used to decorate her home. Among the best pieces she has are art glass vases which she orders online from a reputable company. How I wish I had the same elegant home as hers, it’s a good thing she is more than willing to share her knowledge with those around her!

I have been thinking of adding more furniture and accent pieces in my living room. it looks so bare that it becomes a pain in the eyes. That’s why I asked my interior designer friend on what I can do about it. She suggested that I could add plants to my living room.

So I searched for the perfect indoor plants that I can use for my living room. There were a lot but I really hated the planters that came with it. So I also searched for planters that look nice and classy at the same time. I chanced upon a set of cast iron planter and I thought it was perfect. I purchased them right away and now they are sitting perfectly in my living room.

My mother has recently suffered a stroke and is slowly recovering from it. This came as a shock for all of us, especially since we always thought she was the healthier one among our parents. We needed to take good care of her and look after her, this way we can be sure that she can live longer and be in much better condition.

It can be quite difficult for her to stay standing for extended periods of time, so we hardly get her to do anything at all at home. During bath times, it was quite difficult having to bathe her at the soonest possible time in order to keep her from getting tired. We got her a bamboo shower bench so she can easily sit while we clean her up. This way, we can easily make sure that she is all scrubbed and smelling great afterwards.

These days, I have plenty of time on my hands as all my kids are now in school. As a full time mother, although I have the entire day having to be spent on the chores which needed to be accomplished, I would want to have the time to do things which I absolutely love. This includes decorating my home to the way I want it to be.

One of the things I recently learned over the internet is how to make your own valances. My friends who are also full time mothers have recently taken on the same project, so I wanted to give it a try. After all, my window treatments are items which I have completely overlooked. I have been doing quite a good amount of research in order to get everything right. Hopefully I can create just the thing I want to improve the space I have.
