After the hurricane, my husband and I needed to start our life anew and rebuild what has been lost. It was a very traumatizing experience for us, having worked so hard for everything and ensuring that our family gets the best only to be gone in a matter of hours. We have no choice but to continue with our lives and can only make ourselves be thankful still that our entire family’s lives are saved.

There were a lot of renovations to be done in the house, it was like we would much rather rebuild the place all over again. It was a good thing that we have savings in our bank accounts, and my sister was more than willing to take us in while we are in the process of building everything again. Since renovations and building were being done all over the state, home hardware supplies were pretty much steep and the demand is quite high. Despite all that we were able to pull through, and we now are moving on from that fateful experience.

In the home, I used to make use of natural and fresh flowers to decorate each part of the house. I love to have flowers surrounding me, as they can brighten up my day without any fuss. These days though, I would need to cut my budget at home since I have just bought a new car. I would have to manage my expenses and find ways on how to divert some of my expenses into savings instead.

This is why I opted to simply settle for silk flowers instead. This way, I can have the flowers in my home without having to regularly spend on replacement should these things come wilting. They look just as natural anyway, and they also provide great decor in my home. I simply spray on bouquet perfume to achieve that sweet scent in the space. This is surely a more convenient and cost friendly decor in the home.
