In my home, I have a number of nooks which are too small to be utilized, and big enough not to be disregarded. It can never go unnoticed because it would be such an eyesore if I leave it at that. Because of the irregular shape of our home, we are left with these crannies which need to be treated and decorated properly.
One of my solutions is to purchase some ceramic floor vases which I can place in each of the corners to make the space achieve continuity. These things are a great thing to work with since I need not hire any workers for any decorative treatment, and I can easily transfer these items from one place to another. My place is looking just as perfect without any awkward areas that look pretty empty.

Sewing is one of my favorite pastimes whenever I am at home. Once I am done with the chores I need to perform, I always manage to find the time to work on my current project. I have enhanced and improved my home with the things I have created with my sewing machine. I have produced colorful pillow cases, curtains, runners and practically everything else you can find in my space.
I have allotted a special space in my living room area for my machine. This way I can watch television, monitor the laundry or the food I am currently cooking while I engage in some of my projects. I have one of those machine sewing cabinets which allow me to conceal the sewing machine I have when not in use. This way, it does not stick up like an eyesore with the rest of the pieces in my living room area.
My boyfriend and I decided to live in together and take things to a deeper level. Since we both have different apartments which we share with our roommates, we decided to just live in one place together and move out of our former apartments. This way, we can move on to building what may seem to be a future together and see where our relationship will take us.
One of the things which I purchased for the new home is a quartz clock. Since the place we have is a bit farther from where I work, I would need to keep watch of the time and make sure that I do not come to work running late. Despite being in my late twenties, my mother tends to be much of a meddler when it comes to my life. I know that she only wants the best for me, and I cannot help if I am the only child she has. I have managed to move out of the house, but she would always be calling me to check up on how I am. She even would come visit my apartment to see if I have enough stocks of food or if the entire place is clean.
I absolutely love her for who she is, because I know that this is her way of showing me how much she cares a lot. When she comes over to bring me some home cooked food, she would always round up the house looking for ways on how to fix up the entire place. She even brings me new coverlet sets and pillows every now and then! I will always be that little child she has in her eyes.
My friend is quite a unique person and is lucky enough to have all the conveniences in life not everyone can get to enjoy. Born with a silver spoon, she does not need to work and would usually run off to parties whenever she feels like it. The only type of work she gets to do is whenever she gets to be a contributing writer for a local magazine in our area.
Her birthday is coming up, and I have no idea what to get her. She would usually have all the latest fashion accessories and clothes, so this is something I can no longer give her. I settled for this whimsical wall mirror which would look great for her new place as she had just asked her parents to redecorate her old apartment they had given her. At least she would be able to place this in one of the areas in her home as she tends to be particularly vain about her looks.
My husband and I just came home from our honeymoon, and I guess it is back to reality for both of us. The much needed break was a real treat for me, especially since I have been really stressed and pressured for a good few months because of all the planning and wedding arrangements. Now my husband would have to go back to work and I would have to start learning on how to be a full time wife.
I started opening all of the gifts which were given to us so I can properly get rid of the pile and have the same arranged in the house. The first thing I got to open was this really intricate duvet cover set from one of my friends. She definitely knew how much I love to work on my bedroom and make sure that the space is really conducive for rest. Hopefully I get to have more of these as they can truly make my sleep a real pleasure.
I am the type of person who would always make it a point to come over to our new neighbors and welcome them to the community. I tend to be a very social person, and since I myself had moved around in various places all over the country I appreciated those who would reach out to me. This is why I also do the same thing because I know how much it can be a hassle to move around and adjust to a new location.
Whenever I have a new neighbor, I would usually prepare my signature casserole and hand over one of those country wreaths which I would order online. This is my way of showing my neighbor about my sincere welcome and would want to establish a close relationship with everyone in my street. These individuals would be the ones who I would be with for the rest of my stay in town, so it is always nice to be able to have wonderful ties with them.
